I wrote this song as my wedding march song. As a love skeptic and someone who needs a lot of alone time and space, I feel pessimistic about weddings and relationships. Writing this song is a transitional moment that I’ve allowed myself to believe in someone, surprisingly, so naturally, and allowing myself to be vulnerable to hurt. Coming from a chaotic family for most of my childhood, and witnessing the no. of divorces when I was filing for a Protection Order at the Family Justice Courts, I no longer believed in marriages for a long time. But this moment that is so rare has come by, and I felt I had to make it into a song.
